My passion is location scouting, photography, and management for production companies working in the film industry and advertising. I also enjoy working as an architectural and interior design photographer with an emphasis placed on marketing residential and commercial properties for real estate agents aiming to sell private homes; or, for business-owners wanting to share online galleries of their establishments.

"For me, it’s always about connecting with individuals and learning about them through
the style by which they surround themselves, and the architecture that houses them - attempting to capture an image that rings faithful to the client I have come to know."

Born in Burbank, CA, it seems that I’ve always been around the film industry.
My grandfather, Joe Rotta, worked as a gaffer for Columbia Studios from 1927 until his retirement - he was present during the pioneering stages of movie making and worked on many classic films now famous from that era. From an early age I was influenced by his work and stories, and he inspires me to this day.

I have gained experience on both sides of the camera since 1987 when I started modeling and traveling the world. In 1998, I started to assist photographers, leading to representing their careers and eventually working as a producer for shoots with such clients as Barney’s New York mens catalog, Virgin Records, Flaunt magazine, Interview magazine, and an Urban Decay makeup national campaign. I have also been fortunate to work with such talented artists as Siouxie Sioux, Margaret Cho, Amy Poehler, Dwight Yoakam, Rose Byrne, Sandra Bernhard, Elvira, Miranda July, and jazz legend Hadda Brooks – the subject of a 72-minute documentary film I co-produced and filmed with Austin Young, titled “Hadda Brooks: Queen of the Boogie,” released in 2007.
